Quantity Surveyor

A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for work on the United Utilties Framework and to provide commercial support across a variety of projects, bespoke contracts, and emergency works. The role involves maintaining accurate commercial information, ensuring contractual compliance, and maximising commercial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost management, forecasting, CVRs, and cash flow reporting

  • Procurement, subcontract management, and financial accounting

  • Preparation and agreement of applications, variations, and claims

  • Collaboration with site teams to manage costs and improve efficiency

  • Building strong client and supply chain relationships

Requirements

  • HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

  • Experience with NEC/ICE contracts and construction law

  • Strong commercial reporting and subcontract management skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Membership of RICS (or working towards) is desirable
