Our client a Tier 1 main contractor is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor due to growth and new projects starting. The role will be Site and Office based. With a strong pipeline of work this is an excellent opportunity to join a sussesful team and progress your career.

Your responsibilities:
Based on site as a Project Quantity Surveyor on a newbuild education project.
- Accurately valuing, certifying, and issuing any relevant payment notices for the subcontract works in accordance with the conditions of their subcontract.
- Ensuring that external valuations are submitted in accordance with the conditions of the main contract and that payments are received by the due date.
- Completing CVC reports, ensuring they accurately reflect the current position on site and the final profit projection.
- Building and establishing excellent working relationships with our supply chain, consultants, and clients where appropriate, this will enable you to identify any potential disputes in a timely manner to your line manager and then implement effective resolutions.
- Working closely with the project team and senior commercial staff to achieve or exceed budgeted targets for your project.
Your experience will include:
- Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and specifications.
- A base understanding of contract law.
- Experience in re-measurement.
- Construction related degree.
- Procurement experience.
- Financial / cost control.
- Appropriate CSCS card.
- Driving Licence.
