Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee external cleaning and roofing repairs on two blocks wrapped in scaffolding in Southampton. Ideally you will have worked on this type of project before.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of external cleaning and roofing repair projects.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and work crews on-site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and incident logs.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site supervision, specifically in external cleaning and roofing repairs.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- First Aid certification is essential.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage teams effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and safety management.
