We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee and manage works on the upcoming AMP8 water infrastructure projects in the North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of projects while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role would also suit experienced Foremen who have experience working on water infrastructure and small works jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of AMP8 projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce health and safety policies to create a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, engineers, and local authorities, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents, and progress reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience: in site management, specifically within water or utility projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
- Certifications: Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.
