An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a national contractor on an ongoing freelance basis with a social housing refurb background. You will be managing kitchen and bathroom refit schemes around Walsall so travel between locations is crucial.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations
  • Organise and manage sub-contractors on site
  • Implement and enforce health and safety practices, adhering to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) guidelines
  • Being the first point of contact for the client and sub-contractor
  • Travel between sites across Yorkshire including Bradford, Doncaster, Sheffield etc.
  • Meeting clients and managing their expectations

 

Requirements:

  • You must have direct experience in social housing, local authority or similar housing association refits
  • Possession of SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
