The Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager who is looking to drive their career forward by working on major construction projects alongside experienced colleagues. You will play a crucial role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. We’re looking for a candidate with a strong drive to excel and deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, swiftly identifying and addressing any challenges.
  • Maintain clear communication and alignment among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Inspire and lead on-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee site documentation, including permits, drawings, and progress reports.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to enhance site performance.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).

Package

  • Salary range £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
  • Car Allowance.
  • 5% pension contribution.
  • Private Medical Cover.
  • Life Assurance Scheme.
  • 35 Days annual leave (Including Public Holidays).
