Linear Recruitment are looking for a Technical Manager on behalf of a National New Build Housing developer based in Cumbria.

This role will be a member of the Regional Senior Leadership Team, and you will report to the Technical Director.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to the land and development teams to assist during feasibility studies.
Procure road and sewer designs, external works, private drainage, and, FFLâ€™s in line with a brief produced by you.
Review and value engineer the infrastructure designs.
Manage all consultants to ensure the flow of information is within the agreed timescales and in accordance with the programme.
Coordination of adoption agreements for roads and sewers in a timely manner. Respond to site queries and resolve technical/construction problems.
Interact with statutory bodies, local authorities and external consultants with regards to the satisfactory discharge of planning conditions within an agreed time frame.
Control the submission of building regulations and warranty applications.
Applicants should have worked in a Technical role within volume House Building and come from either architectural or civil engineering background. Our client offers a strong remuneration package and bonus scheme.

What we are looking for:

A relevant qualification and/or broad experience in Technical/planning with an Engineering focus.
Broad knowledge of the legal frameworks associated with planning management and development procurement.
Ability to create and manage programmes, in particular Critical Path.
Numerical and Literate.
Technically competent in using AutoCAD.
