The Opportunity
An established UK traffic management business is looking to appoint an experienced Bookings & Streetworks Technical Manager to join its team in Leeds.
With over 25 years of industry experience, the business provides temporary traffic management solutions across the UK and is looking for someone who can bring strong technical streetworks knowledge alongside excellent client-facing and organisational skills.
This is a key position within the business, combining technical expertise with client support and operational coordination. You'll act as a technical point of contact for complex bookings, support existing customers and help onboard new clients, whilst providing guidance to the wider bookings team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical advice on permits, TTROs, road closures and local authority requirements.

Manage and support complex client bookings, ensuring all technical requirements are understood.

Oversee permit applications and liaise with local authorities, clients and internal teams.

Support new client onboarding, ensuring bookings are set up correctly.

Provide guidance and technical support to the wider bookings team.

Help improve booking processes, procedures and service delivery.

Maintain accurate customer and booking information.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience within streetworks, traffic management or a technical bookings environment.

Strong understanding of permit schemes, TTROs and local authority processes.

Experience liaising with clients, local authorities and operational teams.

Knowledge of traffic management planning requirements and lead times.

Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good IT skills; experience with Salesforce would be advantageous.
