About The Company
They are a respected civil engineering contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure and groundworks solutions across the region. With a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects, they are expanding their team and looking for an experienced Plotworks Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on busy housing development sites.

The Role
As Plotworks Site Manager, you will take ownership of all plot-based activities, ensuring that groundworks, drainage, foundations, externals, and associated civil engineering tasks are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. You will coordinate directly with site teams, subcontractors, clients, and the project manager to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily plotworks operations across multiple housing plots
  • Ensure all works meet technical drawings, specifications, and QA standards
  • Lead site briefings, toolbox talks, and promote a strong health & safety culture
  • Plan labour, plant, materials and sequencing to drive programme performance
  • Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
  • Monitor progress, produce daily/weekly reports, and support project planning
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, site agents, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with CDM, company policies, and environmental procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or General Foreman within civil engineering or groundworks
  • Strong understanding of residential infrastructure and plotworks activities
  • SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred)
  • Ability to read drawings, manage resources, and drive productivity
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, safety-focused approach with strong attention to detail
