  • Calibrate and maintain survey equipment; carry out as-built and verification surveys and produce 2D/3D site sketches.

  • Coordinate engineering information with operatives, subcontractors and the site office; issue basic technical clarifications.

  • Support quality and compliance activities — maintain records, assist inspections and close out snags.

  • Contribute to site planning, waste control and continuous improvement; mentor junior engineers and technicians.

  • Maintain a safe working environment and apply site H&S procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND / Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying or related discipline (or demonstrable equivalent experience).

  • CSCS card (or equivalent), full UK driving licence. SMSTS / SSSTS and CIRIA/site safety qualifications are advantageous.

  • Strong IT literacy — Office 365, basic CAD or survey office tools for producing sketches and record drawings.

  • Confident communicator, organised, proactive and able to work in a busy site environment.

  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Benefits

  • Pension scheme and employee share plans (where applicable).

  • Private medical scheme options and 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.

  • Cycle to Work scheme, corporate discounts and paid professional membership relevant to role.

  • Career development and on-site support with structured supervision and mentoring.
