A great opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support and advise teams delivering works for a major water client. You’ll help ensure compliance with SHEQ policies and promote a positive health, safety, environmental and quality culture across projects.
Responsibilities

Carry out regular risk assessments and recommend improvements

Provide specialist SHEQ advice to teams and subcontractors

Ensure contracts comply with legal and company SHEQ requirements

Coach, brief and motivate teams to embed safe and positive behaviours
-
Develop and deliver engaging training and briefings
-
Audit works, carry out root cause analysis, and support improvement plans
Essential
-
Recognised environmental qualification
-
Strong understanding of environmental management requirements
-
Knowledge of CDM Regulations (Client, Principal Designer & Contractor roles)
-
Good interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills at all levels

UK driving licence
Desirable
-
NEBOSH Certificate with relevant water/construction SHE experience

Membership of an environmental or engineering professional body (incorporated or chartered)

ISO 9001/14001/18001 formal auditor training
