We are working with a tier 1 client who are seeking a Safety Health and Environmental Advisor to join their growing team on several frameworks in the Gas sector in the Norfolk region. In this position you will work hybrid splitting your week between home based and site based working managing the Health and Safety operations on large scale projects.

Responsibilities:
- Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary
- Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
- Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
- Liasing with the client on site and building a strong working relationship
- Deliver toolbox talks and training to colleagues / subcontractors
What do we need from you?
- Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
- NEBOSH or equivalent
- IOSH
- Experience in the Energy or Utilities (Gas, Water, Telecoms) sector would be advantageous
