Our client, a reputable National Contractor, is seeking a Senior Designer to join their team in Warrington. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in a design capacity within the construction industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the creation of standard drawings which can then be used as templates and updated as practices change
• Attend sales meetings to assist and answer technical questions
• Design and prepare detailed (CAD) general arrangement drawings including plans, elevations and section drawings
• Provide technical guidance and direction to the rest of the design department

Requirements: 

• Previous experience in the construction industry as a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or Architectural Technician
• Experience in designing canopies, structural frames, cladding or roofing
• Interior design, product design or interior fit out experience may be considered
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office and Access
• To be able to use Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Showcase
• Awareness of CDM and other mandatory regulations
