Quantity Surveyor

Linear Recruitment are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a freelance basis in Leeds city centre. It is working on a high-rise residential scheme with a minimum of a 6 month contract.

Job Duties:

• Oversee financial performance, budgets and monthly reports
• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and financial reports
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and best practices
• Negotiating with sub-contractors to achieve the best value

Experience required:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Ideal to have experience on high rise schemes but not essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to stick to strict deadlines
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related field
