Procurement Coordinator

Job Role: Procurement Coordinator

We’re partnering with a leading interior design studio based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, who are looking to add a Procurement Coordinator to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, thrives in a structured environment, and takes pride in getting the details right.

Working alongside an experienced procurement team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring projects are supplied with the correct products, in the right quantities, delivered to the right site, exactly when they're needed. With tight project deadlines and high client expectations, accuracy and reliability are essential.

What you'll be doing

  • Raising P.O’s for items chosen by designers to fulfil project requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers to place and manage orders.
  • Coordinating deliveries to ensure the correct products arrive on the right site, on time.
  • Monitoring orders and resolving any delivery issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Working closely with the design and project teams to support the successful delivery of interior design projects.

What they're looking for

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Calm and composed under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A reliable team player who enjoys supporting others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Someone looking to build a long-term career in a stable, supportive environment.
  • Degree qualified would be advantageous, but is by no means essential.

This role would suit someone who is conscientious, dependable and enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. They're looking for someone who values consistency, quality and teamwork over chasing titles, and who takes genuine satisfaction from delivering work accurately every time.

What's on offer

  • Salary of £25,000 – £30,000, depending on experience and skills.
  • Opportunity to join one of the region's leading interior design studios.
  • Full training and ongoing support from an experienced team.
  • Clear opportunities to develop your career within a growing business.
  • Friendly, collaborative and creative working environment.

If you're organised, detail-focused and looking to start or develop your career within a thriving interior design business, we'd love to hear from you.
