Our Client, a National New Build Housing developer, is looking for an Engineer to join the team based in Cumbria.
The role will involve being apart of the Technical Team and Operating Team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical/engineering support to the development and Land team to assist studies and lead within the preparation of site reports for residential developments.
- Commission and manage Consultant appointments in respect of Site Investigations, Engineering Layout/Designs, site-specific foundation proposals and retaining walls as/where required.
- Identify and Manage external consultants to ensure effective communication with in agreed timescales and in line with Housing building standards.
- Assist in the tendering processes, setting up and establishing on site management companies.
- Responsible for managing the Adoption process.
- Provide engineering support to site teams and Internal departments.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as an Engineer for New Build Housing Developers.
- A relevant qualification and/or strong experience in Technical design, and/or Civil engineering.
- Good technical knowledge
- : Knowledge and application of:
- Highway Design Standards
- Sewers for adoption
- Building Regs
- British Standards
- AutoCAD.
