We are searching for a strong Commercial Administrator for a sub-contractor on a large multi-million pound tier 1 scheme.
Job Title: Commercial Administrator
Location: Sunderland
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process payments to sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and timelines.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to project costs.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers and quantity surveyors to track and report on project expenditures.
- Support the procurement process by coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure all commercial activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to payments and contracts in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a commercial administration or finance role, ideally within the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
