Site Manager

I'm currently looking for a new-build Site Manager, for a 40-50 unit scheme in Morpeth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, from site preparation to project completion.
  • Supervise on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and reports.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status and address any concerns.
  • Foster a positive and productive working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, preferably with new build projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, degree).
  • SMSTS and First Aid certifications are essential.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
