Site Manager

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a national contractor on an ongoing freelance basis. You will be overseeing multiple social housing, bathroom and kitchen refits across West and South Yorkshire so availability to travel between locations is crucial.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations
  • Organise and manage sub-contractors on site
  • Implement and enforce health and safety practices, adhering to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) guidelines
  • Being the first point of contact for the client and sub-contractor
  • Travel between sites across Yorkshire including Bradford, Doncaster, Sheffield etc.
  • Meeting clients and managing their expectations

 

Requirements:

  • You must have direct experience in social housing, local authority or similar housing association refits
  • Possession of SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
