We are working with a tier 1 Principal Contractor who are seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join their growing team on several high value frameworks in the Energy sector. As the SHEQ Advisor you will be site based overseeing 2-3 sites in the Midlands region reporting into the SHEQ Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary
- Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
- Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
- Liaising with the client on site and building a strong working relationship
- Deliver toolbox talks and training to colleagues / subcontractors
What do we need from you?
- Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
- NEBOSH or equivalent
- IOSH
- Experience in the Energy or Utilities (Gas, Water, Telecoms) sector
