Job Opportunity: Setting Out Engineer – Warehouse Extension Project (High Peak)

Location: High Peak  
Position: Setting Out Engineer  
Project: Warehouse Extension with Goal Frame Posts and Cladding Works  

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Setting Out Engineer, for a warehouse extension project in the beautiful High Peak area. 

This is a few days work, starting this week and finishing next week - Must have own equipment

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine the most accurate positioning of structures.
- Set out accurate baseline and to develop a control point system for the project.
- Oversee the construction of goal frame posts and ensure compliance with and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with site managers, contractors, and other engineering team members to maintain effective communication and project flow.
- Conduct regular inspections and site audits to ensure adherence to safety regulations and construction guidelines.
- Prepare and present as-built documentation and reports to project stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in setting out engineering, especially in warehouse or large-scale construction projects.
- Must have own equipment
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders on-site.
