Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge within a leading UK infrastructure contractor?
Our client delivers projects across the water, energy, transport and built environment sectors, with a strong pipeline of secured work across long-term frameworks, reactive maintenance and major capital projects.
With projects ranging from £200k to £10m+, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of commercial performance, influence profitability and develop your career within an established business.
The Role
You'll manage the commercial performance of multiple civil engineering and infrastructure projects, working closely with operational and delivery teams to control costs, manage risk and maximise value.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing CVRs, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow.

Overseeing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.

Managing subcontract procurement, negotiations and payments.

Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events and change control.

Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
-
Supporting project teams with commercial guidance and reporting.

Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial procedures.
About You
We're looking for a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
You'll ideally have:

Strong experience in Quantity Surveying and commercial management.

Good working knowledge of NEC contracts.

Experience managing subcontractors, cost control and forecasting.

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
A relevant degree or HND, MRICS or progress towards chartership, a CSCS card, and experience within a self-delivery environment would be advantageous. Exposure to water, rail, utilities or IChemE contracts would also be beneficial.
