Linear are working alongside a regional contractor looking to hire a long term freelance Quantity Surveyor with managerial experience (Site Manager or Project Manager).
You will be organising / co-ordinating smaller projects and being a QS on larger projects.
Must have experience in smaller main contractor or developer, so willing to do more of a varied role.
Commercial sectors and residential new build/development, and have experience in care homes, industrial/warehousing, commercial offices, new build residential development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measurement of painting works to be used for tendering purposes, variation agreement and final account negotiation
• Cost and valuation reporting
• Monitoring progress on site
• To attend in house and client meetings
Required Skills:
• Detailed Site / Project management experience
• Detailed QS experience
• Commercial experience - valuations, pricing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
