Project Manager

Our client who is an award-winning international construction specialist is looking for a Project Manager for a new project based in Somerset.

As a specialist in their field, they have been leading the way for over 40 years delivering complex high value workspaces and technical environments.


About The Job

The Project Manager will manage the team on projects including design and supply chain, ensuring safe and quality delivery of projects, on time and within budgets to the client’s satisfaction.


 

Responsibilities
 

  •  Preparation of estimates and tenders following appropriate site visits.
  •  Reviewing tenders with operations teams.
  •  Participating in the preparation of necessary documents for inclusion on tender submissions including site visits.
  •  Adhering to our Safety First guidelines.
  •  Ensuring contracts are properly planned and programmed.
  •  Ensuring all relevant information is collated, reviewed, and actioned at regular contract review meetings.
  •  Ensure delays are properly recorded under the contract to protect the company position and ensure contractual entitlement.
  •  Form and maintain professional relationships with Client, Project and Design teams, and Supply Chain.
  •  Handover of all necessary documents and activities in place for an on time and orderly handover of projects.

     

Qualifications And Experience
 

  •  Ability to manage multiple projects.
  •  Knowledge of health and safety, quality procedures, and construction industry best practices.
  •  Experience in construction in a pharmaceutical environment is an advantage.
  •  Relevant degree and on site experience.
  • Relevant site tickets and certificates including CSCS card and SMSTS.
