Embroidery Production Operative
JOB SUMMARY
Linear Recruitment Industrial & Engineering is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machinists to join our dynamic team. The Embroidery Machinist will be responsible for operating embroidery machines to produce embroidered designs on various textiles. This role demands precision, creativity, and a keen eye for detail to ensure each piece meets our quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES·
- Set up and operate embroidery machines to embroider designs, logos, or text on fabric and garments.
- Interpret and implement design specifications from digital files or templates.
- Select appropriate thread colours and materials based on design requirements.
- Load and position fabric or garments in embroidery machines.
- Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning and lubricating.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production quantities and completed orders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or escalate major problems to maintenance staff.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to all safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Embroidery Machinist or in a similar role in the textile or garment industry.
- Proficiency in operating various types of embroidery machines (e.g., single-head, multi-head).
- Familiarity with embroidery software and digitizing programs (e.g., Wilcom, Pulse).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret design specifications.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of textile types and properties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if required.

Available Shifts
- Mon – Fri Evenings 14:30pm – 11:00pm
- Mon – Fri Days 06:00am – 14:30pm
