Our Client, a National New Build Housing developer, is looking for an Engineer to join the team based in Cumbria.
The role will involve being a part of the Technical Team and Operating Team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical/engineering support to the development and land team.
- Assist with studies and lead on the preparation of site reports for residential developments.
- Commission and manage Consultant appointments in respect of Site Investigations, Engineering Layout/Designs, site-specific foundation proposals, and retaining walls as/where required.
- Identify and Manage external consultants to ensure effective communication within agreed timescales and in line with Housing building standards.
- Assist in the tendering processes, and setting up and establishing onsite management companies.
- Responsible for managing the Adoption process.
- Provide engineering support to site teams and Internal departments.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as an Engineer for New Build Housing Developers.
- A relevant qualification and/or strong experience in Technical design, and/or Civil engineering.
- Good technical knowledge.
- : Knowledge and application of:

- - Highway Design Standards
- Sewers for adoption.
- Building Regs.
- British Standards.
- AutoCAD.
