Competent Person

We are currently seeking an experienced Competent Person (NSI 6 & 8 Full) to oversee and support concrete repair works on a live project in Bradford for a 12-week duration starting on the 1st June. 

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate concrete repair activities on site
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with project specifications
• Carry out inspections and maintain quality standards throughout repairs
• Manage permits, safety documentation, and daily site records
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and operatives
• Monitor compliance with health & safety procedures and NSI requirements
• Support planning and sequencing of repair operations
• Identify and report defects, hazards, and non-conformances

Requirements

• EUSR - National Grid Persons endorsed with Competent Person NSI 6 & 8 (Full)
• Proven experience in concrete repair and structural repair projects
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site procedures
• Ability to manage site activities and communicate effectively with teams
